The Ask
This was more than a redesign. It was a reset for how DMZ communicates its purpose. The site was cluttered, inconsistent, and hard to navigate. I was brought in to lead creative execution—refining early concepts, rebuilding the brand’s digital presence, and designing a platform that serves real users across all departments.
The Design
The design focused on clarity, simplicity, and maturity. We refined the visual hierarchy, reduced the color palette from 10 to 5, and introduced a cleaner layout system. The goal was to make content easier to navigate and the brand feel more confident and cohesive. I rewrote and restructured content for usability, and created a digital guideline to ensure long-term consistency across teams.
the development
I built and launched over 40 pages in under a month while managing the full rollout. This included leading two developers, a junior designer, and overseeing timelines, QA, and CMS structure. I created an internal task force, met with every department, and implemented a QC system using Pastel to manage bugs and updates. To protect consistency post-launch, I developed updated website and brand guidelines—ensuring every visual and layout stayed aligned across teams and future work.
the takeaway
The redesign aligned the brand across all channels. It gave users a faster, clearer experience while making internal collaboration more efficient. The refreshed system brought maturity to the brand, streamlined stakeholder communication, and positioned DMZ for its next stage of growth.
